Packing for three days in one bag
A short, honest list for a work trip that runs into a weekend.
This is a placeholder article showing how journal entries will look. Replace it with a real article before launch.
Three days is the length of trip most of us take most often: a conference, a client visit, a family weekend. It is also the trip most people overpack for.
Start with the days, not the bag
Write down what each day holds. Two days of meetings and one free day need fewer clothes than you think: one jacket, two shirts, one pair of shoes that works for both.
Keep the essentials in one place
Chargers, documents and medicines belong in the same pocket every time. When they live in one place, you stop checking for them.
Leave room
A bag packed to its limit is hard to live out of. Leave a little space for what you bring back.
